unpopularhetaliaopinions:

The fandom sometimes forget that yes, Hetalia is about country personification, but the nations are not the only ones on the planet. I would like to see more fanfictions and artwork where countries get to interact more with people within their own respective area. Soldiers, scientists, royalty, political leaders, average teenagers, or even have a romance with HUMANS themselves.

And not the obvious ones like George Washington, Queen Elizabeth, and Friedrich of Prussia. No, I want Woodrow Wilson, maybe Queen Victoria of England, Johann Sebastian Bach, etc. America working a laboratory setting, Japan going to a Miku Hatsune concert with his citizens, or even as simple as France helping an elderly woman across the street.

After all, the people make up the country not the landmass.

(And I apologize if my words are unclear and confusing, I’m a bit tired at the moment.)
